Hi, my name is Augustina, and I’m a self-taught, grit-and-raw-determination plus internships UX designer obsessed with designing safer, inclusive experiences for people especially women and girls, particularly those from underserved backgrounds.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and have over 10 years of combined experience across the education, creative, and service industries, experiences that shaped how I think about people, communication, and problem-solving.

Before transitioning into product design, I worked as a freelance graphic and content designer while running my own EdTech company focused on supporting early and struggling readers.

Today, I bring that same empathy and systems thinking into design, creating experiences that are meaningful, accessible, functional, and human.

I currently work in guest experience and administration at a quiet retreat centre tucked away somewhere peaceful in Lagos, Nigeria, and recently earned a Google UX Design Certificate.

This September, I’ll begin a Master’s in Design and Technology at UFRGS, Brazil. Outside design, I still dream of becoming an Olympic triathlete and a wildlife photographer.
